Fabrics are sourced and sewn with trusted partners with the highest standards in mind, and always under ethical conditions. Each season Lacausa partners with organisations and charities and a portion of all proceeds are donated.

No.1 FABRICS

Lacausa’s core fabrics are made from organic or recycled alternatives. Lacausa is committed to using certified organic cotton and recycled polyester (RPET). The recycled polyester diverts post-consumer plastic water bottles from landfills and spins them into different technical fabrics that are used for their swimwear and flow collections.

No.2 PRODUCTION

Lacausa’s core manufacturing is done in their local Los Angeles community and a small percentage of raw goods and garments are manufactured with trusted partners overseas. Lacausa ensures they only manufacture products in factories that provide fair wages and humane working conditions for all team members.

No.3 PACKAGING

In 2020, Lacausa made the promise to remove all virgin plastics from their packaging.Their packaging is made entirely of recycled materials and are reusable and able to be recycled when discarded. Hangtag ans labels are made from certified recycled paper and cardboard.

Lacausa has a well established donation program and their team is continuously working on new initiatives and focusing on human and environmental rights.
